On my own behalf and on behalf of the administrative and academic staff of the Center, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is witnessing rapid developments and qualitative leaps across various economic, social, and political fields. This national transformation aligns with the firm belief of His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect and guard him, in the youth and their high capacities to keep pace with these changes, as youth are the primary engine and pillar for driving economic momentum and achieving sustainable development. Consequently, the university has sought to translate Royal visions and directives into empowering youth, supporting them, motivating them, developing their capabilities, and channeling their energetic potentials toward innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurship, while working to translate their ideas into reality to meet the needs of our homeland. From this standpoint, the university proceeded to establish the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, embedding the university’s philosophy, vision, and goals in teaching, research, and community service. The Center serves as a haven to embrace creative and innovative ideas from local community members, innovative and entrepreneurial students, and university staff, working to provide the appropriate resources and environment to act as a true incubator for innovation and entrepreneurship through activating effective partnerships with both the public and private sectors.
In today’s fast-changing world, our mission at the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship lies in embedding the concept of entrepreneurship and encouraging innovation to create a positive economic and social impact. Stemming from the university's strategy, which is consistent with the Royal vision for human resource development—whose core pillar is investing in the future of our children, the foundation of our renaissance, and our wealth—we are keen to provide a fertile, suitable, and stimulating environment to support students, faculty members, administrative staff, and the local community. This enables them to cope with the challenges of this era using its cognitive tools and modern technical means that support entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, foster its specific concepts, encourage the creation and implementation of
specialized entrepreneurial projects, and cultivate a spirit of initiative, work, and construction for a bright Jordanian future whose title is excellence and whose essence is creativity.

The center also provides a business incubator that offers entrepreneurial students the appropriate environment to develop their entrepreneurial ideas into successful small startup projects. In addition, the center works on building networks and partnerships with entities related to entrepreneurship and innovation, including national and international centers and institutions.
Given the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation, the center equips students and other target groups with the necessary skills and knowledge for innovation and entrepreneurship. It also seeks to promote and support their ideas by enabling their participation in local and international competitions related to entrepreneurship and innovation.

The mission of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is to encourage innovators and entrepreneurs from the targeted groups and transform innovative ideas into products with economic value and viable business projects. The center also aims to elevate Al al-Bayt University to the ranks of distinguished universities regionally and globally in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The center seeks to achieve these objectives by incubating innovative ideas and acting as a bridge between students with outstanding ideas and funding and granting institutions. In addition, the center provides scientific support and the necessary resources to nurture new concepts and innovative ideas.
