The Deanship of Student Affairs plays a pivotal role in supporting students on both academic and social levels. It is responsible for providing psychological and academic guidance and organizing student activities that contribute to honing students' skills and developing their personalities. The Deanship of Student Affairs is committed to providing student services that enhance your university experience, offering the necessary support to address various challenges, and providing assistance in all academic, social, cultural, and athletic aspects. We will strive to enrich your university experience by offering programs and activities that develop your skills and abilities.

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al al-Bayt University is one of the university's core deanships. It has been an integral part of the university since its inception and the admission of its first cohort of students in 1994. The deanship plays a fundamental role in student welfare, fostering well-rounded personalities, strengthening students' sense of belonging to the university and the wider community, and providing a supportive and stimulating university environment conducive to learning, creativity, and excellence. The university has emphasized in the deanship's objectives the importance of supporting creativity, innovation, and leadership; developing students' skills to meet the demands of the job market; providing social and financial services and support; nurturing artistic, athletic, and literary talents; and maintaining contact with graduates.
The deanship operates according to an institutional approach that places the student at the center of the educational process and university services. This is achieved through a comprehensive system of activities, services, and programs targeting academic, social, cultural, athletic, intellectual, and professional aspects of student life. This contributes to building a well-rounded student personality capable of actively participating in university and community life and preparing for the transition to the job market. The Deanship of Student Affairs, through its various departments and units, implements a wide range of programs and services. The Department of Sports Activities contributes to discovering and developing athletic talent, training students, and preparing university teams to participate in local and international championships. The Department of Cultural, Social, and Artistic Activities works to develop the cultural, artistic, and social aspects of students through seminars, lectures, student activities, and artistic events. The Department of Political Education and Educational and Social Guidance plays a vital role in enhancing students' awareness of national and societal issues, establishing a culture of dialogue and respect for differing opinions, and encouraging responsible and active participation in public life through student clubs. It also provides psychological support to students and cares for those with special needs. The Department of Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up serves as an important link between university life and the job market by helping students plan their career paths, develop their personal, life, and professional skills, and provide training, guidance, and direction toward job opportunities. It also follows up with graduates, strengthens communication with them, and benefits from their experiences and needs in developing the services and programs offered to students. The Department of Student Services provides a wide range of services and support, beginning with student reception. This extends to financial aid, student employment programs, health and life insurance, student welfare, and addressing student issues, all of which contribute to providing a stable and supportive university environment that helps students continue their studies and achieve their goals.
From this perspective, the Deanship of Student Affairs can be viewed as a key partner in achieving the university's mission and ensuring the quality of its graduates, not merely as a provider of services and activities for students. It contributes to building a comprehensive university experience, developing students' personalities and skills, fostering their sense of belonging and participation, and preparing them for professional and social life, while continuously improving its performance according to quantitative and qualitative indicators that measure the level of achievement, impact, and sustainability.
