The Admissions and Registration Department takes pride in its pivotal role in serving the educational process and students from the moment of admission until graduation. It considers itself the primary link between students and the University, working to overcome obstacles and provide them with the necessary information and guidance through the Student Guide and the applicable regulations. The Department relies on the latest technologies to keep pace with the era of automation and e-government, supported by a comprehensive computerized system that includes electronic admission, automated registration, academic follow-up, results monitoring, graduation procedures, clearance procedures, and the issuance of student certificates. The Department is committed to the continuous development and maintenance of these systems. The Department seeks to establish an integrated network connecting it with the various faculties and departments of the University to enhance work efficiency and expedite procedures. It aims to harness modern technologies to facilitate students’ affairs and support their academic journey towards contributing to the development of the nation. The Department of Admission and Registration plays a vital and crucial role at the University as it is the link between the student and the University starting from admission and ending with graduation. Throughout this period, the Department follows up the academic progress of the student until he/she is awarded the certificate of graduation according to the laws and regulations of the University. Besides, the work of the Department is closely linked with all the other authorities of the University including colleges, institutes, centers and departments. It provides the required information and statistics as needed through a well prepared and organized database.
The Department of Admission and Registration seeks to be a pioneer in providing the assigned academic services by using modern and technological means in accordance with the highest quality standards.
Our commitment to delivering high-quality, equitable services in the areas of admission, registration, and academic documentation by leveraging modern technologies, developing human capabilities, and providing a stimulating environment that supports students and faculty members while ensuring data accuracy and administrative performance quality.
1-Admission of students from the Unified Admission Unit and admission of students to various programs such as parallel and international programs, diplomas, masters and doctorates, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2-Preparing materials packages and registering them for new students at the university.
3-Follow-up of students' academic records.
4-Issuance of all documents for students.
5-Preparing lists of academically outstanding students.
6-Responding to the correspondence of official institutions and embassies regarding the status of students and their certificates.
7-Uploading students and colleges data on the EMIS system of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
