The Financial Department was established in the early stages of the University’s founding and has consistently made sincere and diligent efforts, as part of the collective work, to advance the University’s progress and elevate it to the desired level. The tasks of the Financial Department are carried out by a distinguished group of experienced and specialized staff, including accountants and administrators. The applicable regulations and instructions have been translated into computerized accounting programs that are uniquely designed and distinguished at the level of universities. As part of its strategic plan, the Financial Department seeks to fully automate its operations and rely on information technology in delivering its services. The Financial Department’s staff consists of 30 male and female employees, distributed according to the nature of the tasks assigned to them between the administration and the department’s divisions, which include: Budget, Revenues, Expenditures, Salaries, Follow-up and Collection, Electronic Services, Bank Accounts Management, End-of-Service Benefits and Funded Projects, Audit, Social Security, and the Diwan (Administrative Office). The work of the Financial Department is closely connected with all colleges, institutes, departments, and administrative and technical units of the University through the financial processing of the University’s various activities, whether related to expenditures such as tenders, purchases, and salaries, or related to revenues such as student fees, investment returns, and others.
