The Maintenance and Production Department is the entity responsible for executing and supervising maintenance works within the University’s buildings and facilities, as well as repairing mechanical and electrical systems, with the aim of ensuring that assigned tasks and duties are accomplished with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
The Department oversees the University's assets, ensuring their repair in the event of malfunctions and maintaining their continuous operational status. With its full technical and engineering staff, the Maintenance and Production Department carries out all necessary responsibilities to preserve all University facilities and perform required maintenance—ranging from the simplest tasks to the most complex—such as painting, repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, and maintaining air conditioning, refrigeration, and central heating systems.
To be pioneers in providing maintenance services with excellence and professionalism, and training students of the College of Engineering towards an attractive university environment in accordance with international building standards and codes with professionalism and efficiency that improves the quality of life for university students and teachers.
The Maintenance Department seeks to achieve excellence in providing services to students, faculty members and staff at the university as well as the local community to contribute to the development of academic work, sustain, operate and develop architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems and develop the process of training students of the College of Engineering to contribute to achieving the vision and mission of the university as a whole.
