About the Program
We welcome you to the Physical Therapy Program, established alongside the founding of the College in 2024. The program offers a Bachelor’s degree comprising 134 credit hours, including practical and clinical training, and leads to a Bachelor’s degree accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Physical Therapy major focuses on enhancing individuals’ motor and functional health. Physical therapists assess, diagnose, and treat movement disorders and pain resulting from injuries, diseases, or aging, using natural therapeutic methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, physical stimulation, and electrotherapy. The goal is to improve quality of life and reduce the need for surgical intervention.
The Physical Therapy program is designed to prepare scientifically and professionally qualified graduates who possess the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to assess and treat movement and functional disorders in accordance with evidence-based practice. The program is grounded in advanced instruction in the basic medical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and kinesiology, alongside structured clinical training.
The curriculum encompasses the study and application of various physical therapy fields and techniques, such as manual therapy, electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise, as well as physical therapy for musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, cardiopulmonary diseases, and pediatric populations. This comprehensive training aims to restore functional mobility, enhance independence, and improve patients’ quality of life.
Graduates of the program have diverse career opportunities in hospitals, specialized clinics, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, and sports institutions. In addition, graduates may pursue academic and research careers in universities and departments of rehabilitation sciences.
