About the Department

The Department of Political Education and Educational & Social Guidance was established in 2023 by a decision of the University Council of Deans. This move followed the issuance of the Royal Decree to activate the role of youth, in accordance with the Regulation on Organizing Student Partisan Activities in Higher Education Institutions (Regulation No. 68 of 2022).

The Department focuses on actively engaging students during their university studies by organizing activities that educate them about party and political life. It also strives to provide educational, social, and psychological guidance to help empower students across academic, intellectual, educational, and social dimensions. To achieve its objectives, the Department comprises several specialized units, such as the Party Activities and Student Bodies Unit, the Counseling and Mental Health Unit, and the Unit for Students with Disabilities. Furthermore, the Department of Political Education and Educational & Social Counseling develops studies and guidance manuals designed to refine operational mechanisms and ensure the fulfillment of its goals.
